4-H Day Camps, Gr K-6Youth EnrichmentTuesdays are held in Foley June 9, 16 & 23 The themes this year are: Hooves, Hums & Halters 4-H Day Camp, June 9Get ready for the most unforgettable animal adventure of the summer! At Hooves, Hums & Halters, campers don’t just meet miniature horses, horses, and llamas — they step into their world through wildly fun, hands-on experiences. Youth might guide a miniature horse through an obstacle course they helped design, team up for a llama pack relay, and decode animal body language in a “mind reader” challenge. They’ll explore fiber through touch-and-create crafts, examine llama fiber under a microscope and make a small, braided llama keychain to take home. Campers can create colorful hoof print art and test their ability to communicate calmly with a full-sized horse. As a special highlight, they’ll also get the chance to meet a miniature donkey and learn what makes it different from horses and llamas. With Barnyard Olympics, creative projects, and even a silly llama selfie station, this camp builds confidence, teamwork, and empathy in a way only animals can inspire. Legacy Quest 4-H Day Camp, June 16Get ready for an action-packed camp where kids become Legacy Explorers on a mission full of teamwork, creativity, and fun! Campers will race the clock in a thrilling Escape Challenge, build bridges in hands-on team missions, and tackle exciting challenges that spark confidence and friendship. With laugh-out-loud twists — like crab-walking to crack clues, protecting a “legendary egg” through a wild obstacle course, crossing a lava field together, or building the tallest Unity Tower from mystery supplies — every mission calls for teamwork, quick thinking, and cheering each other on. Along the way, campers discover the legacy they want to create, learning that courage, kindness, and working together truly matter. Legacy Quest isn’t a history lesson — it’s a high-energy adventure where kids realize they can shape the future, starting right now. Adventure. Laughter. Teamwork. Legacy starts here. Flavor Lab- The Wild Side of Food 4-H Day Camp, June 23Welcome to the messiest, tastiest, most surprising camp of the summer! At Flavor Lab, campers become food explorers as they discover how ingredients mix, change, and transform in fun and delicious ways. Youth might create color-changing lemonade using natural juices, make fizzy popping treats that bubble and foam, or compete in a kid-friendly mystery ingredient challenge where teamwork and creativity shine. Campers will shake their way to homemade ice cream in a bag, whip cream into butter, build layered rainbow drinks, and test what happens when foods melt, freeze, or rise. They’ll also tackle a fun “Fix the Recipe” challenge to problem-solve what went wrong and learn how small changes can make a big difference. Campers might create edible slime, design candy and cracker structures in snack-building challenges, mix up no-bake energy bites, practice simple buttercream decorating techniques on cupcakes, or play taste-testing games to explore sweet, salty, sour, and crunchy combinations. Through hands-on experiments and collaborative challenges, campers discover that cooking is full of science, creativity, and skills they can enjoy with every bite. Location: Foley at the Elementary School Cafeteria Campers need to bring a fillable water bottle and a bag lunch. Cost $25Summer 2026 -
