Foley Fall Dance Team, Gr 7-12SportsFalconette Fall Dance Team! If you’re someone wanting to stay active during the fall, or you want to try dance out, consider the Foley Fall Dance Team! The team will condition, stretch, and strength train while also working on dance skills and technique. The team also learns a dance routine! The Foley Fall Dance team will perform between a JV and Varsity Volleyball game as well as travel to Sauk Rapids-Rice for their annual Fall Dance Show Case! Come ready to work, have fun, and make memories! You do not need to be on the winter competitive dance team to join the Foley Fall Dance Team! We hope to see you there! Grade: 7-12 Practice Schedule: See below Practice Location: FES GymFee: $100 (include performance shirt) Home Performance: Volleyball home match Tuesday, September 30th approx. 7:00pm-- High School Gym **Tackle Cancer Night Dance Show: Saturday, September 27th @ Sauk Rapids-Rice High School. The show starts at 11:00AM. More details to come regarding arrival time for preparation of the show. Parents/guardians are responsible for providing transportation. There may be an opportunity for parents to arrange/utilize carpools. What to Bring to Practice: At practice each day, dancers must wear athletic clothing (no jeans), bring a water bottle, jazz shoes and tennis shoes. Performance Attire: Dancer will need black leggings and black jazz shoes. The cost of the performance t-shirt is covered through the registration fee. If your dancer is in need of black jazz shoes, the head coach of the winter competitive dance team can assist with getting shoes ordered for your dancer. During the fall football season, coaches and players will focus on learning the fundamentals of the game through skill-building drills and scrimmages. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced. Fun, skill-based games will be played to practice newly learned skills. Youth Foley Falcons Archery-- Grade 3 OnlySportsIs your 3rd grade student interested in archery, but not old enough to be on the Foley Falcons NASP team? Here is a chance for 3rd graders to participate. Your archer will learn the 11 stances in shooting a bow, safety, and scoring. Even though too young to be on the NASP team, we will still follow NASP State rule guidelines; team uses ONLY GENESIS BOW EQUIPMENT. Equipment will be provided. F.A.S.T. Kids - First Aid & Safety Trained Kids, Age 7-10Youth EnrichmentFirst Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for ages 7-10. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety. Classroom Driver EducationYouth EnrichmentThis course fulfills the requirements needed to obtain a driving permit. Students must be at least 15 years old to take the permit test. We recommend enrolling in this class as close as possible to the time you plan to take the permit test to maximize the retention of information. Attendance for the full 30 hours of classroom instruction is mandatory. Adults seeking a driving permit are also welcome to participate in this class. The "Behind the Wheel" component, comprising 6 hours of hands-on driving instruction, is separate from the 30 hours of classroom learning.
