Here are the classes we offer: Lil’ Kickers Tae Kwon Do, Age 4-6 This program is designed as a precursor to Tae Kwon Do classes for young children. The material is presented in fun and exciting formats to keep the child interested and excited while teaching them important physical and behavioral skills to develop good habits early in life. Youth Tae Kwon Do - Beg/Int, Age 7+ Practicing Taekwondo is a humbling experience. Martial arts helps us to get beyond negative self-judgement, and to focus on constantly developing and improving on ourselves. Youth Tae Kwon Do - Advanced, Age 7+ This class builds on the lessons learned in the Youth Tae Kwon Do class. Tae Kwon Do creates an environment where everyone can achieve success.Fall 2024

Starting SoonWinter Basketball League- 3rd and 4th GradeSportsWinter Basketball League- 3rd and 4th Grade (joining Becker Area League) The traveling league will be a combination of practices and games. Participants will learn fundamental basketball skills through skill practice, drills and actual game play. **We will rely on volunteer parent coaches to lead practices and games. Please Alyssa-- astewart@apps.isd51.org if you would like to coach. Coaches are given proper equipment to use for the season. BalletYouth RecreationFirst Ballet Class (45 mins) Is your tiny dancer already twirling her way through your home? This class for ages 3 to 8 will offer her a chance to refine her dancing, express herself through movement, and meet friends who love the same thing she does! This class includes beginner ballet movements, overall body strengthening, clean music, original choreography, an enthusiastic teacher, and a performance for mom and dad on the last day! Beginner Ballet Class (1 hour) Try ballet for the first time! This 6-week class for ages 9 to 14 will introduce you to the basic concepts of ballet, such as plie, tendu, adagio, and jumps. A perfect class to help young students decide whether ballet might be the pursuit for them! This class includes beginner ballet movements, overall body strengthening, clean music, original choreography, an enthusiastic teacher, and the opportunity for Mom and Dad to observe class on the last day!Winter-Spring 2025

F.A.S.T. Kids - Staying Safe While Home AloneYouth EnrichmentFirst Aid and Safety Trained Kids is a 4-hour course for 7 - 10-year-olds. This course helps prepare children for staying safe at and away from home. Lessons cover basic first aid, water safety, vehicle safety, home emergencies, injury prevention, stranger and internet safety.
