Make Some Fun Spring Treats, Gr K-6CookingSpring Into Fun (Grades K–6) Presented by the School District Child Nutrition Staff Description Spring is a season of growth, color, and fresh flavors. In this hands-on session, students will explore cooking and gardening through fun activities. Participants will stir up spring treats using wholesome ingredients, learn basic kitchen safety and nutrition concepts, and try their hand at planting a small container garden to take home. Mother-Daughter Event, Age 13+Arts & CraftsNewJoin us for a special morning of creativity, connection and community at our Mother-Daughter Breakfast & Mosaic Art Class all in support of our high school Spanish students traveling to Peru this November! On Saturday, May 9 from 9:00am-12:00pm, participants ages 13-103 are invited to enjoy a relaxed and meaningful experience together. The morning will begin with a light breakfast featuring coffee, tea, juice, bagels with cream cheese, fresh fruit kababs and more. After breakfast, guests will be guided step-by-step in creating a beautiful 4" mosaic terra cotta flower pot. You will design your own unique piece and plant a flower to take home - a lasting reminder of a special day shared together. No prior art experience is needed, just come ready to have fun, be creative and make memories! All proceeds support FHS Spanish student travel.Winter-Spring 2026

In Sparkle & Sprinkle: 4th of July Cake Pops, youth will roll, dip, and decorate their very own cake pops in patriotic style. Using red, white, and blue shimmers, sprinkles, and edible glitter, each cake pop becomes a dazzling treat that’s as fun to make as it is to eat. Participants will learn simple cake pop techniques, experiment with colorful designs, and create festive treats perfect for the holiday. At the end of class, everyone will take home their decorated cake pops to share with family and friends—adding sparkle to any 4th of July celebration.
